Reviving a dead monitor!
by Nedim Skenderovic 15 Aug '13

Hi, basically what I want to do is use my old laptop monitor with my rPi project, but have not done anything like this before so would like to ask if someone has experience in this kind of stuff.. The monitor model # LTN154P1-L02 <http://i.imgur.com/r6W1w.jpg> Samsung I have found this item on eBay, from China, that sells controllers for this type of monitors and programs it, but not sure should I use it? 5451(Audio) LCD Controller logic Board AD ConverterLVDS DVI VGA DIY 1920x1200max<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370702952371&ssPageName=…> Is there a better way? Could I use something else? Any stores here in Austria that I can check and see for this type of things? Any suggestions? All the best, bfo

Who wants to join the Metalab DIY DRONES Team (was Re: [intern] lomo copter)
by Jay Vaughan 04 Mai '13

04 Mai '13

Okay, I've ordered one of these: http://store.diydrones.com/APM_2_5_Kit_p/br-ardupilotmega-05.htm .. and I'm going to get it installed in my AXN Clouds Flyer in the next few weeks, and start using it. I simply can't wait until my 5 year old gets his own auto-pilot instead of having me snatch the controls when he gets too close to the rail line in my neighborhood .. ;) So this is pretty much a message to anyone who wants to start/participate in a DIY DRONES workshop - we can build planes/copters, we can program them, we can crash them, we can fly them, we can use them to put mjam.at out of business (j/k), and so on .. is anyone else interested - please raise hands? If we get enough folks interested, we should start a workshop and get cranking out some planes and other fun flying things. j. ; -- Jay Vaughan

Frage zu den Anfängen
by Anton Pirker 26 Mär '13

Hallo!
by Hans Freitag 26 Mär '13

This final error message indicates a successful installation of a UNIX GIS cluster node. This is not an error, as the misleading message may suggest.
