Sobald die mal regulär released sind, wär ich bei einer Sammelbestellung auch dabei! lg Thomas Am 22. Dezember 2011 21:47 schrieb leopold zyka <leopold.zyka@gmail.com>:

I'd say TrimSlice is a bit more viable as a hacking platform, and not much different to the Raspberry Pi in the grand scheme of things: http://trimslice.com/web/ Also, its available now. ; -- Jay Vaughan
The TrimSlice is also several times more expensive - just like a normal PC. The really attractive part about the Raspberry PI is it's very low price. On Tue, Jan 3, 2012 at 7:54 PM, Jay Vaughan <jayv@synth.net> wrote:

If we do a group buy, we can get a discount.

Except that it is utterly fictional right now and won't be available for quite some time. I could design a product that costs $35 and does wonderful things too - won't make a difference until its actually shipped and in a customers hand. ; -- Jay Vaughan

That's why I (for my person) chose the Cubox. Price and Power are about in the middle of TrimSlice (~200€) and RaspberryPi (35€). And it's available too.

To be fair, for Raspberry Pi you will also need to get a few extra things like power supply (~ 3€) and SD card (~ 5€).

Well, I believe that they will release it pretty soon (in the course of the month). And apart from the low price they have a likable mission behind the project. Are you seriously think that such an expensive thing could be considered as a hack platform? I could buy a laptop for my friend for that price! Seriously, Raspberry guys are even planning a buy-one-give-one thing. This double pie will cost less then a half of your plate.

I doubt that, but I'd be happy if it happened.

Yes! :)

Lets hope it sees the light of day and that we can all get one before the apocalypse .. ; -- Jay Vaughan
Vielleicht wre auch eine Sammelbestellung von Raspberry Pi interessant<http://www.raspberrypi.org/> ++, aber erst wenn sie wirklich Released sind. Die Verkufe auf ebay sind nicht wirklich gnstig ;). lg
