The really attractive part about the Raspberry PI is it's very low price.
Except that it is utterly fictional right now and won't be available for quite some time. I could design a product that costs $35 and does wonderful things too - won't make a difference until its actually shipped and in a customers hand.
That's why I (for my person) chose the Cubox. Price and Power are about in the middle of TrimSlice (~200€) and RaspberryPi (35€). And it's available too.
