yeah... there customers are probably mostly companies. that want to keep their svn private. and they probably want to enforce their user limit /: even though read only public access should be fine (and give them more exposure and thus more paying users). ... ah startup decisions....
..and there ends the fun with beanstalk; they don't support public access to repositories :(
