Unser nächstes Treffen findet statt: Wann: Freitag, 28. 2. 2020, 18.30 Uhr [1] Wo: Metalab, Rathausstraße 6, 1010 Wien [2] Die Agenda zu unserem Treffen findest Du in unserem Wiki [3]. Stattdessen ist Ram Rachum so nett, uns während seines Wien-Aufenthalts folgenden Vortrag zu präsentieren: Live-coding a Music Synthesizer This is going to be a fun live-coding session using `numpy` and `sounddevice`. The goal is to make the computer play music that sounds close to a real piano, using nothing but math. We’ll start with creating a simple sound using a sine wave. We’ll gradually make it sound more like a real instrument, learning a little bit about music theory on the way. We’ll add features one-by-one until by the end of the talk, we’ll hear our synthesizer play a piece of classical music. All the code will be written live on stage. ACHTUNG!
