Did you even read the description on the wiki? Can you install icecast on a IP cam? can you install a DV-cam on an IP cam? Can you install several DV-cams on an IP webcam? The main work that the computer should do is live encoding using ffmpeg2theora or Puredata patches. I'm not sure at this moment about minimal requeriments for the streambox, but maybe could be a 2,4 Ghz CPU / 512 RAM
