CouchDB, the P2P web and scalable concurrent document oriented databases Why we need document oriented databases instead of relational ones for future webdev. I'll first give an introduction to googles map/reduce algorithm and then I'll focus on couchDB and its new possibilities for the p2p web. Requirement: A history in webdev with rails like apps.
