a workshop on guitar pickups like mentioned on https://metalab.at/wiki/Jukebox#Gitarre:_DIY_Tonabnehmer_.2F_magnetic_pickup... sounds great. Is there going to be another one? if so i'm in!
it was Elmar Zeilhofer who perfected his DIY hambucker pickups that were super flat so you can slide it under the strings of your precious guitar or creative cigar box guitar without indentation or drilling. Sadly he's no longer frequenting the Metalab when he started to make a business out ouf it some years ago: https://sixtus-pickups.com and https://www.flatpup.com/ Later Amir pondered over making his own DIY pickups as well. cu, Peter
