Ohne vertragsbindung? Not in Austria, man. I wonder why usually so strict EU regulations don't apply in this case? It wouldn't that bad if only every service provider doesn't forget about your existence the moment you sign the contract.
Actually they exist. http://www.kabelplus.at/ and https://www.liwest.at/where the ones I found. But in the end, they are so much more expensive that it does not make any difference anymore (liwest chargest 120Euros initial installation fee !?!?!?!) I decided to just opt for a contract, as I figure I will end up paying about 350Euros either way in total. Cheers p. On Mon, Feb 18, 2013 at 4:35 PM, Sergii Kauk <sergii@kauk.at> wrote:

Kabelplus is the former BNet provider who owns the cable-network in Burgenland. I don't think they offer anything in Vienna. The same is probably the case for liwest, since that means Linz/Wels/Enns/Steyr, which are all in Upper Austria. But the local cable providers ouside Vienna are usually very reliable.

I know they are working in Klosterneuburg and besides there's availability check on their website.

Sorry, I got it wrong. Kabsi (NÖ) bought BNet (Bgld) and their name is now Kabelplus. So yes, Lower Austria works of course. The availability link on the website didn't work for me. But Kabsi never provided services in Vienna, simply because they do not own the cable network.
