Atmel AVR programming dongle gesucht
Danke! Chris I've already been to Metalab a few times - maybe some of you know the Englishman with electric car charge apparatus in the Whateverlab! Today I have a question: my Olimex ISP500-Tiny has (for the second time :-( ) gone wrong, and I have to develop something this week. Does anyone have such a dongle, please? Anything with USB or serial connection would be great. My development board has 6-pin SPI and 10-pin JTAG connections, and works fine with STK500 or AVRISP. I'm only in Vienna until Monday, and can happily visit Metalab today or tomorrow. Thank you! There should be a USBTinyISP (http://www.ladyada.net/make/usbtinyisp) in the drawer labeled "uC Programmers", in the 3D printer corner. -Marius

Thank you to everyone for the generous ideas, suggestions and offers. I think the equipment at Metalab should solve my problem. I'll be along later this afternoon to find out... Hi Chris, in a pinch like this you can always use an Arduino as an ISP programmer: http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ArduinoISP it's not super ideal but it works :-) cheers D On 23.02.2012, at 06:22, Chris Jones wrote:
