hi metalab, i wonder if someone would be into helping me setup my Beagleboard, and get openFrameworks working on it? i have the board and i think all the gear i need, and i have fairly reasonable knowledge of Debian linux, but as i understand it the default Linux for Beagleboards is Ångstrom, and getting openFrameworks to play nice with this could be fun.. having someone with more knowledge than me might be useful :-) cheers, damian -- damian stewart . @damiannz . damian@frey.co.nz frey . contemporary art . http://www.frey.co.nz

I've been wanting to get my BeagleBoard up and running for a while without finding enough motivation or a purpose to do so. A hacking session/week-end for pulling this together and hacking up some demos would be interesting, so if anyone are up for that, consider me in. I don't have any concrete experience with BeagleBoard, Ångstrom or openFrameworks, but I cannot imagine how this shouldn't be a walk in the park to get running (well, maybe a jog and it might be raining, but then again it's just some libs ;)) ~/= Marius -- We are Elektropeople for a better living.

I'm in - I've been looking quite a bit into BeagleBoard for one particular project (would love to use it in some others), but I gotta admit I've had more luck with running Ubuntu and Debian on it than Ångström. When are you thinking to start working on it? M -- http://niij.org/

For my part, I'm away until the 25.. I prefer to work in week-ends/evenings, as this is not my day job ;) ~/= Marius -- We are Elektropeople for a better living.
