Hi metasss, metalabTV process updates:: Consti's machine (streambiox) is up and running. Ready to stream. Johannes and me we installed on friday and looks the machine works perfect. Now I'll try to start using Puredata for production and mixing. It is the best software under the sky for video-sound-network, hehehe (someone curious? http://puredata.info Second step:: build the TV plato. That means, mainly, lights and cameras Of course in metalab, cameras should move alone, following audio voices, isn't it? any ideas, any resources, anyone joining the plato building idea?? later, today, in metalab jaume

Yeah, I'm working on something very very similar. The main difference between my solution and the SpokePOV is that my main goal is to design and build the thing myself ;) Apart from that, I'm doing what appears to be the same; atmel controller, shifting registers to pump out the data, serial EEPROM to store the images, hall sensor to detect rotation. Technically, I'm differing by going for a single-sided SMD board (since that what's easiest to produce in the lab) and I want to use RGB leds. For $40, their kit is a really good purchase I think. ..and they have some nice software that I might want to RGB-ify and adopt in my project :) ~/= Marius -- We are Elektropeople for a better living.
