Hallo! Mein macbook hat den Geist aufgegeben. Symptome: * Bildschirm schwarz * Lüfter surrt wie unter Last * LED vorne konstant (nicht Knight-Rider-Effekt). Problem: Würde gerne - bevor ich ihn zum Service bringe - Daten sichern. Da Macbook aber nicht bootet, wird das schwer, denke ich. Kann mir jemand helfen? Tipps & Anregungen? LG, Johannes

You can do some cheap diagnosis at power-on time, even if the machine doesn't boot: http://www.jacsoft.co.nz/Tech_Notes/Mac_Keys.htm (if you can put it in Firewire mode, you can easily do a backup as it now acts as an expensive firewire disk). ~/= Marius -- We are Elektropeople for a better living.
